Union County State's Attorney issued the following announcement on March 14.
Union County State’s Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that Tyler Michael Henderson (DOB: 10/20/1993) of Anna, Illinois has been sentenced to three (3) years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to one (1) count of Aggravated Battery (Class 2 Felony). Henderson will also serve a two (2) year Mandatory Supervised Release. Henderson bit the arm of an Anna Police officer in February 2019 as he was being arrested for another offense.
