City of Anna issued the following announcement on March 8.
Girl Scout Troop #8597 from Union County, IL is currently working on earning the Girl Scout Silver Award, which is the second highest award a Girl Scout can earn. They are planning a “That’s Trash” Community Litter Clean Up event on March 23, 2019 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and will be in the areas of Lime Kiln Rd & 51 North, please be aware of their presence.
They are in need of the following items; gloves, trash bags, masks, water and/or other donations to help. If you are able to assist in anyway, please contact Melissa Waun, Girl Scout Leader at 618-525-5111 or davemojo1975@gmail.com for more information.
