Joppa-Maple Grove Community Unit School District 38 issued the following announcement on Feb. 16.
Eastern Illinois University is reaching out to current high school juniors. They have created a new Junior Open House. The earlier students learn about college, the more confident and prepared they’ll feel when they walk in their first college classroom. This Open House will be designed with juniors in mind, showing them what college is like and what EIU has to offer, but we also encourage sophomores and even freshmen to attend. It will be held Monday, March 25 – students can learn more and sign up at eiu.edu/openhouse.
