February 4, 2019
Coltan N. Bonham, 21, Brookport was arrested at a residence in the 1200 block of Baynes. Bonham was wanted on warrants. Massac County issued a warrant for Possession of a controlled substance. Lyon County, KY had 3 warrants issued for him. Violation of an order of protection, possession of stolen property and unlawful transaction with a child. He was lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
February 5, 2019
Metropolis Officers responded to the 1300 block of Girard for a domestic dispute call. Upon arrival, Officers learned that the offender had fled. The victim stated that Randall L. Parmley,57, Metropolis violated an order of protection and beat her up. Officers checked the area. Parmley was located in the 700 block of Catherine. He was arrested and charged with violation of an order of protection and domestic battery. Parmley was lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
A Metropolis Sergeant observed a grey Chevrolet proceeding northbound on Metropolis St and fail to stop for the stop sign at 12th St. A traffic stop was conducted, and a computer check on the driver, Mildred L. McDonald,37, Metropolis, revealed that she had a suspended driver’s license. She was also wanted on a warrant. The warrant was issued by Massac County for driving while license suspended. McDonald was arrested and charged with disobeying a stop sign and driving while license suspended. She was also arrested for the warrant. She was lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
February 7, 2019
A Metropolis Officer observed a green Jeep traveling down E. 6th St. He recognized the driver as Bobby J. Lang, 41, Metropolis. Lang has a suspended driver’s license. Lang was arrested and transported to the Metropolis Police Station. He was able to post bond and was released.
February 8, 2019
Jordan A Colmark,19, Sterling, IL, was arrested in the parking lot of the courthouse annex on W. 8th St. Colmark had been warned numerous times by different officers to stop yelling and cussing in the courthouse. Colmark had gone outside and created another scene. Colmark was arrested for disorderly conduct. Colbrook was also charged with resisting arrest after he fought efforts to take him into custody. He was lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
February 9, 2019
A Metropolis Sergeant stopped a white Dodge pick-up truck on Cherry at E. 3rd St. for no valid registration. A computer check revealed that the driver, Jimmy W. Leach,37, Metropolis had a suspended driver’s license. Leach did not have insurance on the vehicle. Leach was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and no valid registration. The truck was impounded and towed. Leach was taken to the metropolis Police dept for processing. He was able to post bond and was released. A short time later, Officers were informed that Leach showed up at the tow yard with another driver to pick up the Dodge. The other driver drove the impounded vehicle away, but Leach was driving the other vehicle. A Metropolis Sergeant observed Leach driving the other vehicle on North Ave and Hilanoa. A traffic stop was made, and Leach was again arrested for driving while suspended. He was transported to the Metropolis Police Dept for processing and released on bond.
February 10, 2019
Holly M. Phelps, 23, Dawson Springs, KY, was arrested at a residence in the 1700 block of McCrary. Phelps was wanted on warrants issued by Pulaski Co, IL for Criminal damage to property and Hopkins County, KY. Those warrants were for probation Violation, possession of controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence. Phelps was lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
The preceding information pertains to arrests made by the Metropolis Police Department. These arrests are made on the basis of probable cause and all arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty
