Massac County Sheriff Office issued the following announcement on Jan. 14.
On 01/04/19 Deputies began investigating a Burglary that occurred in the 700 block of Airport Rd. Reported missing were cash, a television, an Xbox and a firearm. Deputies recovered evidence at the scene of the burglary that led to a 17 year old female juvenile. The female juvenile was located and interviewed. The juvenile was released to a guardian. Formal charges on the 17 year old female juvenile have been forwarded to the Massac County States Attorney. The items missing from the burglarized residence have not been located. The investigation is ongoing and further arrests are anticipated.
