Illinois Department of Corrections issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
For the third consecutive year, staff at Stateville Correctional Center raised funds and purchased gifts for nearly 30 children at Lambs Fold Domestic Abuse Shelter in Joliet. A special thank you to AFSCME LOCAL 1866 and the Northern Reception Center Record Office for their generous donations. Great job Stateville staff!
