Metropolis Police Department issued the following announcement on Dec. 21.
Special thanks to Big John's, Pepsi, LaFarge, and our own Bear on the Air! $400 in gift cards to purchase food for Weekend Blessing. We (MPD) have been partnering with Weekend Blessing to serve approximaetly 158 kids a week with food to eat durng the weekends when they are not in school.
