Massac County Sheriff Office issued the following announcement on Dec. 18.
On December 17, 2018 the Massac County Sheriff's Office took two separate reports of thefts. The first theft occurred in the 2100 block of Burnett Rd. It is believed that that someone came to the address around 2:00 A.M. on December 17, 2018 and committed the theft. Reported missing were 3 UTV's and a trailer. The trailer is a 2011 Retco Tilt Trailer. the UTV's reported stolen are as follows:
Also on December 17,2018 the Massac County Sheriff's Office took a report of a stolen truck from the area of the intersection of Crim Rd. and Jonesboro Rd. Reported stolen was a 1996 White Chevrolet Silverado with Illinois registration 1676452B. The truck is a single cab, short bed with maroon interior. The truck was parked in a field near the intersection. It is believed the truck went missing sometime on the morning of December 17, 2018.
