Massac Community Unified School District 1 issued the following announcement on Dec. 9.
Massac Junior High School hosted a Unit #1 Spelling Bee this week. Students from all district elementary schools in grades 4-8 competed. The following students won top honors at each grade level:
4th - Sierra Eller
5th - Landon Holman
6th - Sydney Lewis
7th - Noah Melcher
8th - Mya Porche
