The Union County Board of Supervisors met in Regular Session on Monday September 10, 2018. The meeting was called to order at 9:00 AM with the following members present: Ron Riley, Dale Cline and Dennis Brown.
AGENDA: Motion by Cline and seconded by Brown to approve the Agenda. All voting aye, motion carried.
MINUTES: Motion by Brown and seconded by Cline to approve the minutes from September 05, 2018. All voting aye, motion carried.
OPEN FORUM: Elizabeth Stewart presented a mobile application service for county information. Ray Brown, Joe Owen and Butch Lauffer inquired about the proposed Emergency Management Communications update and the repeater towers and the effect on property taxes.
ENGINEER: Union County Engineer, Zach Gunsolley, presented and discussed the weekly maintenance activity report.
MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCATE RESIGNATION LETTER: Motion by Cline and seconded by Brown to regretfully accept the resignation of Donna Ray, Mental Health Advocate. And express their gratitude for her many years of service to Union County. All voting aye, motion carried.
MONTHLY VETERANS: Motion by Brown and seconded by Cline to approve the August Veterans Monthly Report. All voting aye, motion carried.
CLAIMS: Motion by Brown and seconded by Cline to approve the Claims #135085 - 135210 for $536,108.08. All voting aye, motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT: There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 11:50 AM.
