First United Methodist Church Of Metropolis issued the following announcement on Nov. 13.
Just a reminder that the Children's Christmas Choir will practice Sunday from 5:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m. Please try to be in attendance if you plan to participate. There are assigned readings, two songs, and they will be "hanging the greens." Students who are old enough to read are asked to bring their bibles Sunday to practice reading out of them versus the handout. The readers, as planned but could change, are Lucus, Chloe, Jack, Eli, Hannah, Rachel, and Sadie (if she wishes to participate).
