Metropolis Fire Department issued the following announcement on Oct. 11.
This recall was issued in March of this year, but I'm just now becoming aware of it. It's fire prevention week and this is something we all need to check on as well as a great time to practice and or establish our fire escape plan within our homes. Also as a reminder, if you live in the city of Metropolis and you do not have a smoke detector please contact us and we can provide and install one for you.
