UNION COUNTY STATE'S ATTORNEY: Marion Man Sentenced to Prison for Stolen Vehicle

Union County State's Attorney issued the following announcement on Aug. 31.

Union County State’s Attorney Tyler R. Edmonds announced today that James Robert Webb, Jr. (DOB 09/14/1967) of Marion, Illinois has been sentenced to six (6) years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to one (1) count of Unlawful Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, a Class 2 Felony. Webb will serve a three (3) year period of Mandatory Supervised Release. Webb was sentenced as a Class X offender based upon prior criminal history. Webb was arrested in September 2016 following an investigation conducted by Anna Police Department. Herrin Police Department assisted in the investigation.
