Anna Fire Department responded to 62 calls in 2017 - 7.5 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Anna included 46 fires - 26 structure fires, nine vehicle fires and 11 other fires. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $838,100 in fire loss - or about $18,220 per fire.

The department also received 15 false calls, including two malicious calls and 13 other false calls.
