Illinois residents paid $5,792 to attend the two-year public institution this year $192 more than the $5,600 charged for 2016-17.
Non-residents paid 8.8 percent more than residents this year, or $6,304. Their price tag grew 5.3 percent from $5,984 in 2016-17.
About 95 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Illinois residents. And about 5 percent are residents of other states.
Data shows 92 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 90 students received grants or scholarships totaling $278,811 and 3 students took out student loans totaling more than $16,000.
Including all undergraduates, 926 students used grants or scholarships totaling $3.99 million.
