How many administrators do school districts have in Southern Illinois?

Buncombe Consolidated School District 43, Shawnee Community Unit School District 84 and Meridian Community Unit School District 101 reported the smallest student-to-administrator ratios in Southern Illinois, according to the latest Illinois Schools Report Card.

Statewide, there are about 2 million students enrolled, the 2016-17 Illinois State Board of Education report said. On average, there are 190 students for every administrator, or 10,526 administrators in the state. The average administrator earns $106,273 a year.
