On Sunday, April 6, former Massac County High School standout Emma Austin’s current college team, the Southern Illinois Salukis, won 9-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Indiana State Sycamores.

The game took place at Charlotte West Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Sycamores this season.

The Salukis’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 5 p.m. at Charlotte West Stadium against Bradley Braves.
