On Friday, March 14, former St. Joseph-Ogden High School standout Luke Landrus’ current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, won 13-9 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Valparaiso Beacons.

The game took place at Illinois Field. This was their first matchup against the Beacons this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m. at Illinois Field against Valparaiso Beacons.
