On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Goreville High School standout Reese Ray’s current college team, the SIU Edwardsville Cougars, lost 10-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Oklahoma State Cowgirls.

The game took place at Farris Fields Complex. This was their first matchup against the Cowgirls this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 11 a.m. at John and Ann Rhoads Softball Stadium against Alabama Crimson Tide.
