On Friday, April 18, former Goreville High School standout Reese Ray’s current college team, the SIU Edwardsville Cougars, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Western Illinois Leathernecks.
The game took place at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Leathernecks this season.
The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 18 at 2:30 p.m. at Mary Ellen McKee Stadium against Western Illinois Leathernecks.
