On Tuesday, March 11, former St. Joseph-Ogden High School standout Luke Landrus’ current college team, the Illinois Fighting Illini, won 11-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Western Illinois Leathernecks.

The game took place at Illinois Field. This was their first matchup against the Leathernecks this season.

The Fighting Illini’s next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 3 p.m. at Illinois Field against Valparaiso Beacons.
