On Saturday, March 22, former Massac County High School standout Emma Austin’s current college team, the Southern Illinois Salukis, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Valparaiso Beacons.

The game took place at Valpo Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Beacons this season.

The Salukis’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 5 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Belmont Bruins.
