Eckerd Tritons fall to Lynn 15-7 in NCAA Division II contest as alumnus Tyler Altenbaumer pitches

Former St. Joseph-Ogden High School star Tyler Altenbaumer pitched for the Eckerd Tritons on Saturday, March 14, as the team was defeated 15-7 in an NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lynn Fighting Knights.

The contest was held at Turley Athletic Complex. This marked the second meeting between the teams this season. In the prior matchup on Friday, March 13, the Tritons came out on top, 10-4.

Over five innings, Altenbaumer gave up three earned runs, walked one, and struck out three batters.

The Tritons are set to play again on Saturday, March 14, at 2 p.m. at Turley Athletic Complex when they face the Lynn Fighting Knights.
