There was one lawyer in good standing in cities within Pope County as of the third quarter of 2025, according to the ARDC of the Supreme Court of Illinois.

The number of lawyers with active licenses remained the same when compared to the previous quarter.

The only license was registered in Golconda.

Mid-level attorneys, such as those in Attorney III roles—who handle highly complex legal work with moderate supervision—earned on average $191,066 in Illinois, compared to $187,448 nationwide.
